Nature

During my travels, I take note of the visions that manifest themselves; I archive them in the baggage of memory and interpret them by documenting them.

In these distant places, I recover numerous traces of what has been the difficult relationship between man and nature. I describe portions of space, where grotesque machines that feed a fossilized nature reside. Here, time seems to have stopped and it is possible to live only thanks to memory.

"Man is the craziest species: he worships an invisible God and destroys a visible Nature. Without realizing that the Nature he is destroying is that God he is worshipping."

(Hubert Reeves)
